5 Months Already!

So I am now 5 months old! I have been doing really, really good at holding up my head and sitting upright while playing. My Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me.





















In fact, just the other day, I got this new jumper type play toy thing. I am doing pretty well at balancing in it while playing with all the toys attached to it.

Do you see this flower right here? Yea, right here, the yellow one.

It is my favorite part of this thing.

I LOVE TO EAT IT.

It feels so good on my teething gums. (note: I do not yet have any teeth.)

In other news,

On Sat. (07-24) I got my first high chair!

And shortly after my first trial run in it, Mommy and Daddy let me eat my first step in solid food...rice cereal - with a real spoon. (AKA stinky white mush!)

I anxiously waited with anticipation. I had no idea what was going on.

Mommy was preparing something and Daddy was taking pictures.

And then it came.! Some type of bowl with a mysterious goopy white stink in it.

So, I did what came naturally and put the stink in my mouth!

I really didn't care for the taste. (Mommy and Daddy could tell as I let them know this from my disapproving smiles. BUT. The act of eating with a spoon and flinging the mush around was so much fun, that I actually went for seconds!

Last weekend I took a day trip with Mommy and Daddy up to wine country.

(Nope, I'm not old enough for tastings.)

I heard that some of my older cousins were coming up for a local marathon. (Well a half marathon, whatever that means, I cant even walk)

I met up with my cousins, Carolyn and Kristen, after their run. We all got to hang out poolside in Sonoma. It was a lot of fun. They sure knew how to make me laugh!

What? Don't look at me. Talk to my parents about having to wait so long for a blog update. I cant log on without em'.

I caught a really gnarly cold a few weeks ago. (probably from day care)

I had to go to the Doctors office to be checked out. (actually i think more than once during this month)

Anyways, because I am such a big boy, They weighed me.

Also this month, my Uncle Wes came to meet me! When he was younger, he too used to live in the Bay Area.

We got had a number of days to hang out and trek some of his old stomping grounds.

The picture with Uncle Wes, Mommy, and the tree was taken in the Presidio, and the one with all the fog was taken up at Tilden.

Mommy and Daddy took Uncle Wes and I up to
Tilden to see some of the awesome views, but fog kinda got in the way.

We did get a good view from Twin Peaks in SF.

You may have noticed that I rarely star in any pictures in pictures that are taken in SF. That is basically because it is often way to chilly for me to be outside of the car posing for photo shoots.

I got a new buddy today. Born in Maryland this morning. (Well morning in Pacific Time)

Her name is Everly Reed, and I could not be happier about her arrival.
